Easter is almost here!

This week, the participants made Easter Egg Cards for their loved ones. I prepared egg-shaped cutouts and colorful paper for decoration. The participants were required to cut the color paper into strips and paste them onto the card.

Most of the participants were able to cut the paper and place the strips side-by-side. For the most part, they were able to put together this Easter Card with little help. Here are some of the completed works (the names are covered for confidentiality):

After the activity, I asked the participants to dedicate the back side of the card to their close friends or family members. Some of the letters were really heartwarming. One said “Dear Family! I am having a good time here, people are very nice”. Another participant dedicated his card to his wife and wrote “To my dear wife, Happy Easter!” I'm glad that these cards served a good purpose.

Thank you for reading the blog and that's it for this week!
